Neerad A.M.L.P school is the main primary education institution  in Neerad. This school was established in 1925-26.

It was introduced by Mekkadan Kunjhalan Haji,Velu mash & some good personalities of Neerad they were interested in the field of education in that time.

               
 The name of school in that time was A.M.L.P.JB (Junior Basic) school.(up to 5th standard) Only few students was there in the begining. 

               The school was started near to Neerad Panchayath bore at first. The  school working time was 7am-4pm. In morning upto 10 am madrassa classes will be held at school then after 10 school classes will start.

more than ten thosand students acquired education from this school.

  Govt UP School Neerad is situated in Neerad. It is 750 metres far from Neerad town.   It is located in slope of Nellikkunnu.  School is located at eco-friendly place. The school comes under Kondotty panchayath, Malappuram district, Kerala.

Present Condition;- 

• More than 150 students are seeking education from this esteemed institution. There are 4 divisions for 5,6,7 & 8 respectively.
